the Canon Powershot S3 IS and the Ricoh Caplio R4

The Canon is a 6 Megapixel camera with a 6-72mm lens (35mm
equivalent is 36-432mm). A 12x lens.
The Ricoh is a 6 Megapixel camera with a 4.6-33mm lens (35mm equivalent is
28-200mm. A 7.1x lens.
All photos were handheld although both cameras have image stabilization which
helps.
None of the photos have had any
modifications made to them after exposure, other than resizing the smaller ones.
