Basil Pesto
       
       
  2 Cups basil leaves
  2 Cloves garlic (only one if large)
  ¼ Cup grated Parmesson cheese
  ¼ Cup pinenuts
  ¼ Cup extra virgin olive oil
  ¼ tspn Salt
      Pepper to taste
   
  Place Basil leaves and garlic into the bowl of a food processor and pulse well to chop and mix.  Add salt, pinenuts, and parmesan and process well to combine.  With the motor running, drizzle in oil to form a smooth paste.
   

Note    

Mint, Parsley, or Rocket may be used in place of the Basil.  All make delicious pestos
