CHOCOLATE  SELF-SAUCING  PUDDING  -  #1 

1 Tbspn Butter (soften) 1 Cup Flour
½ Cup Sugar 1 Tbspn Cocoa
1 Egg ½  tspn Salt
½ tspn Vanilla essence 1 tspn Baking powder
½ cup Milk
Sauce        
½ Cup brown sugar
1 Tbspn Cocoa
Cups Hot water

Method
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla essence, then fold in sifted dry ingredients, alternately with milk. 
Pour into greased casserole dish.

Sauce
Mix brown sugar and cocoa together and sprinkle over mixture, then gently pour the hot water over.

Bake at 180 deg C for 30 – 40 minutes
